Born to Compete

Baseball at Acadia is as rooted as the University itself. Baseball has been played at Acadia as early as 1878 with with Baseball at Acadia being a varsity sport until the 1950's.

After a hiatus of over a decade of baseball at Acadia, the Acadia Baseball Team was reinstated into the Canadian Collegiate Baseball Association in 2014, and started off the new campaign with a no-hitter.

​

The Axemen have not missed the playoffs in four years, have attended the CCBA National Championships for the past two consecutive years, and finished as National Semi-Finalists in UBaseball this past season.

The Axemen have established a winning culture and look to continually improve year after year, and play with some Acadia Grit.
